wanderings
sundays are always nice.always. after church went to victoria train station to buy tickets then had half an hour to spare. so went to walk walk around. went to see a cathedral, a really old music school, classic quaint pubs and bars. so lovely. was feeling ye olde worlde charm. wish i had a less bulky camera so i could have taken pictures. the cathedral was beautiful but a trifle scary. it had statues of ghouls and goblins carved in the building. ghouls?? no wonder the church in the England is mostly dead. ghouls. sheesh. and another pretty sight was an ugly couple making out in a corner outside the church. double sheesh. felt like stoning them. bukan saya mia masalah. walk on by... ooh, and today was patriot's day. like hari pahlawan back in everythingcanland except they don't ask money from school children, who never give anyway (me at least =P). everyone was wearing poppyseed badges. heard bands playing in the city. tried to look for the parade but failed. had to run back to station to catch the train. =( love spending time with myself sightseeing. i'm my best friend. muah muah.

catch me a hill
weekend again!! whoopdeedoo. i is feeling like watching a movie. but i donch know whats out there worth watching. i might just search my favourite movies online, like A Fish Called Wanda! heeheehee...love that show. u gotta watch it. u have to. typical british wit. there is just N.O.T.H.I.N.G to do here, save clubbing and drinking, which mua, does not deign to do. sheesh, manchester is boring. no sea, no pretty english villages to explore, no mountains to climb, no streams to forge.. now i can't wear me bonnet and fluffy skirt and go twirling up any hills. plus, you tend to get lazy here due to the cold dratty weather. you just want to stay home with your comfy duvet. oh well...................................

the "sien" factor
i'm so emo-ing today. woke up happy and excited. went for extra pracs. got home. slept. woke up grumpy. got invited for dinner at friend's place. went to cook and eat. met other emo-ing people so emo-ed with them. had some magic boiled green beans and coconut milk and then was giggly and happy again. something's wrong with me. so the sien!

oddities
people are a nuisance, wouldn't you agree? if everyone just kept to themselves, the world would be a happy place, for me that is. thats my philosophy. write it down people. i'm not bitter nor am i a hermit. just a proven observation that people are cumbersome. they hang around, they visit you at odd hours, they bug u on msn....and then there are the creeps lurking out there. u can't identify some of them at first sight, so innocently, u make friends with them. then they start displaying their creepyness and u avoid them like the plague. didn't happen to me, i was just an amused spectator. i stereotype alot. =P but still, i should love to earn lots of money and buy my own island in the future. just me and the big blue sea. sighhh....i need a holiday. somewhere....in greece.

the adams and the eves.
i tells you, the things i go through for this physio course. today, for practical lessons we learnt postural control and behaviour. rights. so lecturer tells us "Off with your tops! observe each other's muscular activity in the spinal and abdominal region!" Caught me unawares there. hmm, think zoe think. quick! Ooh, yes me did wear a spaghetti type shirt underneath my 1st layer of clothes. Lets hope i won't have to model. Nopes, me had to model. Sighhh...but i slyly just lifted up my shirt for them to observe. I didn't happily strip off my shirt like the others. Call me a prude, aye, that i am. I still am not used to exposing body parts. But looking around the room, i was thinking, for goodness' sake why not? So many porky, hairy, flabby people and some girls, even boys, with the biggest boobs you'll ever see. And they were happily parading for each other. Just 6 weeks into the course, and i've seen all i'll ever want to see of my classmates'
anatomies. shiverssss...i wonder how they teach physio in malaysia? hmmm..
speaking of which, reminds me of something i saw 2 weeks ago. in one of the sports lab, we caught a glimpse of physio students observing a guy, probably a student too, clad only in his underwear streaking up and down the room several times. oh help! help!
